New Castle Police initiate body camera program

The New Castle City police department's patrol officers will now be wearing body cameras.  The cameras will be utilized to document responses to incidents and all contact with citizens.  New Castle police acquired a total of 30 Axon body cameras.  Police say that their new technology can now be used as evidence in criminal proceedings.
