Portion of Shields road to close for repair

A portion of a busy Boardman road will again close within the next week.  Shields road will be closed between Glenwood Avenue and Market Street.  The closure will take place on Monday, August 5 through Friday, August 9.  Officials say that there is a necessary catch basin which needs to be repaired.  Detours include taking Shields to Glenwood Avenue and then to State Route 224 or Midlothian Blvd.
