Lipkey Road and Mahoning Avenue speed study

In Mahoning County, the engineer's office is looking at the speed limit in the area of the intersection of Lipkey Road and Mahoning Avenue. The intersection is near the entrance and exit from the Ohio Turnpike in North Jackson. Local trustees requested that a speed study be done because of the high volume of accidents at the intersection. The current speed in that area is 55 miles per hour.
