Residents in Columbiana asked to conserve water due to leak

City crews in Columbiana are attempting to locate and repair a large water leak. According to an alert from the police department, residents are being asked to conserve water until they can locate the leak. The city is asking residents to limit water use until 6 p.m. today or until the leak can be found and repaired. Police are asking citizens to not contact police dispatch to check the status of the repairs because it could tie up the lines needed for emergency calls.
