Mahoning County OVI checkpoint location announced

The Mahoning County OVI Task Force has announced the location of the sobriety checkpoint going on Friday night. The checkpoint will be at 2214 Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown.  The checkpoint will run from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.  The Mahoning County OVI Taskforce said that the checkpoint serves to deter and intercept impaired drivers.  Officers will be checking for alcohol and drug impairment.  Saturation patrols will also be conducted throughout...
