I hope someone can get to the root of this problem!
I say a new tree (a street hardy variety) and re-dedication is in order, perhaps at Streetscape 2009 on May 30th...

Maybe the street department removed in error when the snow removal trucks stacking the snow up on the curbs over the winter months??

On June 21, 2007, city officials planted a honey-locus tree next to city hall to commerate the City of Youngstown becoming part of Tree City USA.


This is a photo of the same location today.  Where did the tree go?
