Arconic workers vote against contract proposal

United Steelworkers at Arconic voted against the contract proposal offered by the company Monday after weeks of picketing.  The workers shot the contract down with 311 votes for "no" against 145 votes for "yes."  Jose Arroyo, a representative for the USW Union, said that they will keep working through the negotiation process and a two-week rolling extension is still in effect.  The workers began picketing in April.  RELATED COVERAGE: Local U...
