Senator Brown introduces bill to protect infants

Senator Sherrod Brown joined several other United States senators to introduce legislation to protect babies' lives by banning the sale of crib bumpers in the United States.  Between 2006 and 2012 23 babies have died due to the suffocation of crib bumpers.  The Safe Cribs Act would make it unlawful to manufacture and import crib bumpers. Bumpers are marketed as necessary additions for infant safety although 48 babies have died as a result of suffocation between 1985 and 20...
