Simply Slavic kicks off in Downtown Youngstown

The Simply Slavic festival kicked off in downtown Youngstown with music from the Chardon Polka Band and the ceremonial tapping of the festival's specialty brew called Rodina, which stands for family, Friday evening.  The special beer was bottled and is being sold at the festival and other locations across the Valley.
