Youngstown officials respond to vacant house fire

The Youngstown Fire Department was called to a vacant house fire on 771 Willow Street Monday afternoon. Even though the house was vacant at the time of the fire, the house has an eerie past. The vacant house sitting on the cross street of Star St. and Mcguffey Rd. is where a man was hit in the head with a brick and machete earlier this year.  According to the Battalion Chief, the cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation.
