DeWine tells DOD Ravenna base 'ideal' for missile defense site

Governor DeWine sent a letter to the Department of Defense to urge the department to designate camp James A. Garfield as the third Continental United States Interceptor Site.  Earlier this year, the Missle Defense Review discussed the need for a ballistic missile defense site and Camp Garfield was a suggestion.  Camp Garfield is located in Trumbull and Portage counties.  If this is brought to Ohio, the site could have an economic impact of $3-4 million, with approxim...
