Rabies alert issued after Mercer County cow bites owner

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture issued a report Friday after an adult beef cow that attacked her owner tests positive for rabies. The cow was euthanized and showed other abnormal behaviors such as vocalizing abnormally and attacking her herd mates.  The Department of Agriculture says two people were exposed and are receiving post-exposure treatment.
