Ashtabula Co. man sentenced to life for murder of 13-year-old

An Ashtabula County man charged in connection to the 2017 murder of a 13-year-old has been sentenced to life in prison. John Bove pleaded guilty to thirteen counts after the murder of Kara Zdanczewski in Saybrook Township. Those charges included murder, rape, kidnapping, abuse of a corpse and other charges, WKYC reports. Bove was arrested in Sharon after leading police on a car chase and foot pursuit.  He was previously convicted of rape in 1989 in New York.
