Canfield doctor to keep medical license after tax crime conviction

A Canfield physician who was previously jailed for tax crimes will be allowed to keep his medical license.  The State Medical Board of Ohio has ordered that fifty-seven-year-old Nicholas Garritano will face a reprimand.   Garritano pleaded guilty in 2018 to one felony count of failing to pay taxes.  The original eleven count indictment alleged that from 2009 through 2012, Garritano was responsible for the corporation’s business and financial operation...
