Truck slides into side of Weathersfield home

An icy stretch of Salt Springs road closed in Weathersfield Township after a pickup truck slid into a house early Friday. The truck went off the road between Ohltown McDonald Road and Niles Carver Road just after 8 am. Investigators believe that water from a home's sump pump froze on the road, causing the icy conditions. Part of the home's siding was damaged. It's not known if the driver was injured.
