Bitter cold bears down on the valley

The deep freeze forced schools and some businesses to close today. Places that would normally see at least some traction were primarily deserted, with most people following the advice to stay inside if they could. The below freezing temperatures formed more ice as the day went on along the strong current near Lanterman's Mill in Youngstown.
