Major winter storm nears, dangerous cold to follow

There are still a few more hours to prepare before the biggest winter storm the Valley has seen in years arrives: The snow should begin in earnest by 10am across much of the area; the heaviest snow should begin around 2-3pm and continue through 2-3am Sunday. By daybreak Sunday, the snow will be tapering off as temperatures plummet and winds increase. Expect dangerous wind chills Sunday night through early Tuesday morning.
