A well-known pastor known not only to area churches, but for working to make a difference in the Youngstown schools and the community is honored for his self-less service. The Reverend Kenneth Simon was presented the Reverend Elizabeth Powell Heritage Award. The late Reverend Powell fought sexism in the church and racism in the Valley.
