Nearly 3,000 without power in Mahoning County

Ohio Edison crews are working to restore power to Mahoning County customers on Monday evening. Around 11:00 p.m. on Monday, there were about 2,350 customers without power. Boardman Township has 1,842 customers without power and Canfield Township has 339. The cause of the power outage is unknown at this time. First Energy is reporting that power is expected to return around 2:00 a.m.
