Americans must soon say goodbye to some popular car models

Consumers are increasingly turning toward roomier SUV's as the vehicle of choice. Now, many compact cars and Sedans are on the chopping block. Among the vehicles getting the ax are the Chevrolet Impala and the Chevrolet Cruze. Volkswagen is also discontinuing some of their popular models including the VW Touareg SUV, although it will continue in foreign markets. The beloved VW Beetle will also be no more. Other discontinuing models include the Ford Focus and Toyota Prius V.
