Consumer Information Series: Understanding Video Games- Boardman

They have come a long way since Pong, but despite the continually growing popularity of the medium, there are still many of us who don’t know much about the industry and even less about how to go about buying a game for their kids and grandkids. This program provides a brief history of the medium, explores some of the appeal and controversies surrounding gaming, and introduces consumers to important tools like ESRB (Electronic Software Ratings Board) ratings so they can make informed purchases.
