Youngstown forced to fall back on 'plan B' after Christmas tree mishap

The 50-foot tall, 10,000 plus-pound tree came crashing to the ground Wednesday morning when the top snapped. Now, after there being no way to save it, it's time for the city of Youngstown to put its fallback plan into action. It's the ultimate fate for most any healthy pine tree in our area - gracing Central Square in downtown Youngstown for the Christmas season.
