THREE CHEERS FOR YOUNGSTOWN CITY COUNCIL.

As reported in the Business Journal today, a major blighted downtown area will finally be introduced to the wrecking ball.

"The effort to rid downtown of long standing blight reached another milestone last night as City Council cleared the way for demolition of a whole block of mostly vacant, delapidated buildings."

The entire cost is expected to be $500,000.00.

"Work could begin as early as 90 days from not, said David Bozanich, city finance director. The entire project should take between three and four months from demolition to construction."

The land will be used as a parking lot which will be a major good for Powers Auditorium. Pepole will be able to park very close to this magnificant venu.

$500,000.00 WELL SPENT.
