I think it's probably a good idea.  The city isn't a property manager, and shouldn't be.

However, I would like to know how this deal compares with similar deals in other locations.  I don't know if the fees and percentages are standard for such a deal.

Vindi online reports that Youngstown signs a management deal with a company from Niles to manage 20 Federal Plaza West.  Sounds like the city will pay enormous amounts of money in fees and percentages for improvements and capital improvements.

What are your views on the deal?  Is it sound and possibly worthwhile?
