What was your favorite place??

I miss ball room dancing at the Idora Park, all the concerts, Spring Thing events with Boots Bell.  I miss Dark Shadows a afternoon type soap opera.   I miss browns drug store soda fountains, and penny candy.  I miss ice skating on lake newport and lake glacier.

Let's see, can I make this post any more confusing?

If you could reopen anything that no longer exists what would it be? What do you have the fondest memories about?

For example, I have fond memories of Twice Loved Books on Midlothian and Market St. My mom and I would drive there look through all the books and occasionally find a gem or two and then hit Handels ice cream before heading home

Also, I miss the Austintown Flea Market. I use to love going there on Saturdays and Sundays and looking around. They seemed to always have the same stuff but it aws a fun time none the less. Now the building sits vacant and I have to go to the Super FleaMore, Rogers, or 4 Seasons for my flea market fix.

I know Idora Park will be on many people's list. So other than Idora, what else do you miss?
