There may be changes coming to the local television landscape. Documents filed with the Federal Communications commission indicate that talks are planned between the prospective new owner of WYTV, and soon- to- be new owner of WKBN and WYFX. The subject of the talks is a possible agreement to share services. Neither party will comment on the extent of any such sharing. The sale of WKBN and WYFX to New Vision Television is expected to close this month. WYTV announced its sales agreement with Parkin Broadcasting earlier this week.
