Maximizing the Quality of Life for Special Needs Children

Area's first annual Special Needs Expo will unite parents with vendors and organizations Who: Miracles Unlimited is hosting the Valley's first annual Special Needs Expo What: The first annual Special Needs Expo. More than 400 people, including the parents, loved ones, teachers and caregivers of local special needs children, are expected to attend.

When: Saturday, March 3 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: Holiday Inn Metroplex, Liberty, Ohio

Why: Many area parents are faced with the constant challenge of caring for a special needs child. By bringing together vendors, government agencies and nonprofit organizations, the Special Needs Expo will provide the resources parents need to maximize the quality of life for their special needs children. Attendees will have opportunities to visit more than 40 vendors displaying a wide-range of the latest medical products and services. Demonstrations will be available for durable medical equipment, as will workshops on the health, wellness and education of special needs children. Representatives from local agencies and nonprofit organizations will provide information to parents on community services and educational programs.

Expo Host: Hosting the Special Needs Expo is Miracles Unlimited, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping special needs children become more independent. Founded in 2003, Miracles Unlimited has since taken the lead in providing Conductive Education programs to local children.
