Building Renovation on North Phelps

Is this building still a law office? In an earlier life it was the Metropolitan Savings and Loan, and the store front was Harris Florist Shop. I always stopped in Harris for flowers for my Mother. Their plants were beautiful to the extreme. They later relocated in the Erie Terminal Building in the area that was th snack shop when the Erie RR was still here.

By the way, it isn't two buildings but one. The law office on the 2nd floor runs the whole length of the building looking out on both Phelps and Commerce Streets.

Vince Gilmartin had his office there along with partners.

Two buildings are being repainted on North Phelps Street near the intersection with W. Commerce.  Notice the colorful magazine paper used to mask the windows.
