We make it a point to check on the elderly in our neighborhood.

Truthfully how many of you take the time to check on the elderly in your neighborhood, or do you have the attitude I couldn't care less?
Fortunately my apartment is air conditioned and I keep a half gallon of cold water in the frig, but then not every Senior Citizen is as blessed as I am, and we all need to look out for each other and not just sit around flapping our gums after the fact. But then I have little confidence in peoples compassion toward the elderly.

the elderly in my nieghborhood are too busy causing trouble by being  bossey nosey nieghbors in the block watch i belong to in my nieghborhood, too many gladys gravises.
