The city needs to renew their effort with the adopt an empty lot program
and see if they can get more property owners to buy empty lots next to
their own properties, on the cheap.

I did see a man on a riding mower cut one yard and then he rode his mower down the street.

If this was a neighborhood resident then he deserves kudos for excercising some initiative
and doing it himself.

I'm hearing complaints that some of these yards that were cut ended up looking like a mess.  A lot of high grass was missed and clumps of mowed grass remained in the yard.

Recently I noticed several properties on the west side that had very high grass. Most were lots with vacant houses.   In the past week, all of these properties had the grass cut.   Who or which organization cut the grass?
