Has the old fitness station at Park and Elm corner been removed?

My neice was one of the first kids to slide down the sliding board at that
corner when it was first put in.....

I believe it will be situated between the pavilion and Fifth Ave, near the tennis courts.

Where exactly will the playground go?
I'm positive that Mr. Wick would have been very happy about it since that was one of the  reasons why he created Wick Park in the first place.
By way of history, there was a move to locate Stambaugh Auditorium in Wick Park, but due to the provisions that Mr. Wick stipulated, nothing could go inside Wick Park that would take away the purpose for which it was created, and that is why the Stambaugh Auditorium is located where it is today.

Pennsylvania and Ohio?   Wow, uh, Wick Park is between Park Ave and Broadway and FIFTH and Elm.


I plan to be there. There will be several United Way volunteers there as well.
