Sunday Voting In Mahoning County

We need to be grateful we have early voting and no excuses absentee ballot voting.  Our neighbors in PA have neither.  Their only option is to stand in line on election day, unless they have a special reason for an absentee ballots(like military service).

25 states have both early voting and no excuse absentee ballot, 6 have early voting only, 2 have no excuse absentee ballot only, 2 vote by mail only(Washington and Oregon) and 15 states allow absentee ballots for special reasons only with no early voting.

I don't want to think what the lines would be like on Tuesday if we didn't have early and absentee ballot voting.

Sunday was also an early voting day at the Mahoning County Board of Elections in Youngstown.  A friend spent one and a half hours in line waiting to vote.
