Highlights from tonight's 7th ward candidates forum

Were all candidates for a local elected office allowed to speak at the Seventh Ward Candidates Forum?  I know that some independents are running in some of the races.

everyone was invited yg and ole alike, the d's and r's and other parties were invited.

and the three ring circus continues with politicians coming out of small cars while the lobbyists ride on white horses promising the five and dime politicians one day they too can fly on high flyingswings.

I knew a neighbor who used to vote for Donald Duck every 4 years...I now think he was on to something....

Who said that politicians had a lick of anything remotely resembling intelligence?

1. The Democratic candidate for County Commisioner couldn't answer a simple yes or no question. When asked if he was
for or against fracking in the county, he delivered a 3 minute lecture on the fracking process.

2. The Republican candidate for Congress in the 13th district said she was in favor of fracking because representatives
from Chesapeake Energy told her it was safe....so it has to be true.

man, are we in trouble....
