It has been a problem that the environmentalists have been trying to change the definition of fracking to suit their purposes.  These studies would have vound contamination regardless of the source.  they were looking for fracking fluids in water supplies and found none.  So whether it came up from the deep or came down from the surface it would have been detected.

Its not worth worrying yourself over the fracking non-issue.  There are other environmental problems out there to take action about, but this is not it.  When you look at the overall big picture you see that the benefits of natural gas outweigh the risks.  We cannot afford to have blinders on.

I have learned a quite a few things about fracking on this forum.  I am beginning to believe that what 'YOU' call FRACKING probably may not contaminate drinking water.   After having said 'that' I firmly believe that what I call FRACKING encompasses MORE than just breaking up stones with water and chemicals - it also has to do with the disbursement of THAT TOXIC WATER among other things which does NOT fall into the definition of what 'YOU' call FRACKING.  Words can and do take on different meanings - a good example is the word marrage - it sure has taken on a different meaning of late  ::) like it or not  .   Do you see my point? ???   Can you find me reports that say drinking water was never affected by the water used in Fracking ! ! !   Also I would like to know more about this "drifting" water table ?  stuff ?   At first it was said that it does NOT drift and now they are saying it DOES drift which appears bad for the Fracking side.  I can go on and on but for now - that is it.  THANKS
