Well, if you are a paid caregiver your investment is rewarded with a paycheck.  If you give someone your time and support without a return, God will reward you.
Twenty years ago when I was moving houses off of Route 22 in Steubenville, the City had a big campaign to plaster murals all over the City, it looked nice for a while, then it did nothing but fade away..... literally too.

hahah.  So if I make an investment in someone's life by giving them my time or support, that is charity.
Interesting.


Anyway, as I said above, I'm not sure how I feel about these murals all over the place.

Correct, it is vague.  The correct word for this subject should be charity.

As you can see, there are many different types of investment.

Why not call it an investment in our downtown?

When you finance a project with funding that is neither interest bearing nor the capital  repaid, we are teaching dependency and not free enterprise.  Or, you can call it charity.
