YAEDA seeks to acquire the Kress Building

The Youngstown Arts & Entertainment District Association is making a proposal to the CIC to acquire the Kress Building on Federal Plaza West in downtown Youngstown for redevelopment.  YAEDA has two grant writers who will immediately start to work on the project.  Assistance will be sought from Main Street U.S.A. for architectural work.

YAEDA is asking the CIC for one year to get the project off the ground.  Once the building is finished, YAEDA hopes to rent out the space for retail uses.
