I don't know if SB5 will work for the good of the State or not. But what I do know is that what we've been doing hasn't worked. So we elected some new people, I'm willing to give their programs a shot. In 4 years, if they fail, then we try some more new people.

I see that the ads are starting now for SB5 or Issue 2 as it will appear on the ballot.

I can't tell you how important I feel SB5 is. Having served eight years in local government I can tell you the deck is stacked in favor of the unions. If you don't believe it, ask yourself how is it that area cities can be running skeleton crews for safety forces yet still be granting raises.
