Salvation Army Building to be Demolished

Its called private property rights and I am sure if you wanted to do something with that building Jay you could buy it from the owner.  You control what you OWN.  It is unethical to have control over something which you do not own.

The former Salvation Army building on Mahoning Avenue is scheduled for demolition.  What a waste of a good building!  The fact that this building went from being occupied to being demolished in five years points to the failure of city government, local institutions, and historic preservationists to be in control of anything.
