Thank you very much for that article Towntalk! I have been looking for more information on Alexander Davis for years. He passed away March 30, 1888 and is buried in Calvery Cemetery. No Vindicator papers seem to have survived for a three month period that includes that particular date. I always assumed he was killed instantly when he was thrown off the truck. Thanks to this article I can hopefully find the accident documented sometime in 1895 and go from there. I really really appreciate what you have found!
