Where did the income tax $ go?

I don't how much of it the Fire Department saw either. They were able to rehire the employees that were laid off prior to the levy's passage but that is about it. There hasn't been any improvements to the station or much in the way of new apparatus.

Just heard on the news that YPD Grievance Officer Bigowsky went before City Council and asked where the money from the increased city income tax went.  It was to go specifically to YPD for more policemen - which has decreased in numbers. They want to know where the 3.2 million (that has been raised because of the tax) went.  So far, no one has given any explainations - newspeople aren't getting return calls from Finance Director Bozanich.
