That being the case, I'm glad that I've built up a large library - some 2, 655 in all of Old Time radio shows and consigned them to CD's and download all the Youngstown history books that are available because if my ISP starts charging by usage, I'll be using the Internet strictly for mail and this site.

I can see that one of the prime benafactors will be newspapers. If rates go as high as cable TV a whole lot of folks are going to cut back on how they use the internet.

Bandwidth is bandwidth, no matter how you are using it.  Audio streams usually don't use as much as video.  It seems that soon our internet providers will be able to charge us by how much we use?

Can someone please answer this question. I understand the "pay for view" portion for watching videos on the internet, and since I don't watch videos on the internet, there are no worries, but I do download old time radio programs, so would there be a pay to hear as well. I don't listen to the shows that I download while on the internet, just download for later listening absent my internet connection.
