Christmas Parties

Jay, Did you see the Christmas Card I posted for you and Greg?

A few members of our block watch want to go to the party on Friday.  The party gives us another opportunity to exchange information with other block watch leaders.

A lot of the parties are by invite only, and considering what it costs to throw a party that would be open to the general public I would hope that they would charge admission if only to recoop their costs.

Personally I wouldn't have the nerve to go to a party that I wasn't invited to just to take advantage of others generosity. And certainly if I did, I wouldn't lug along a camera.

Why hasn't this group thought about throwing its own Christmas Party, and say a gift exchange?

Many groups are having Christmas parties this week.  I wish it were possible to attend all of them.
