YSU: Budget Cuts and Tuition Increases

Inaction?  On the contrary, the state government is finally taking some ACTION to balance the budget.  The true cuts should come to medicare since that sucks up 40% of the budget, and some estimates say that 80% of the budget will go to medicare when Obamacare takes effect.

Thanks to inactions by our Republican and Democratic State House Leaders, YSU will now enter a time
of increasing budget cuts and tuition increases to boot.

Another sign of the middle class being squeezed out of sending their children on to higher education.....

If we can't fix the state budget to fund higher education, we better find and bring living wage jobs to the area for all those
folks who will no longer be able to afford higher education.
