Everything I've read/heard indicates that Kasich just thinks it's a dumb idea, and would try to reallocate the money to highway and freight rail improvements.
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

Hagan is trying to compare a stance taken by the GOP four years ago with their current position on high speed rail.  Now tell me, has anything happened in the past four years that might make a prudent person rethink their position about spending government money?  Tea anyone?

Hagan is using the old political trick of telling half truths and taking statements out of context to create an illusion that he can use to push an agenda.

You all should remember that if you read articles like this, DON"T BELIEVE A SINGLE WORK OF IT until you have INDEPENDENTLY FACT CHECKED.  If you don't then you are going to be played as a fool.
