Black Squirrels

I have not seen any of them here on the north side yet.  We have many trees and squirrels but no black ones yet.

There are many black squirrels in Canfield.
I saw one in Austintown last year.

I saw a black squirrel on the west side of Youngstown last week.

I haven't seen any around here.  Are they migrating from Kent? (I saw lots of black squirrels at KSU)

In the United States, the city of Kent, Ohio  has a significant black squirrel population, after 10 were legally imported from Canada in February 1961. They have driven out native squirrels in many areas, though they peacefully coexist with most other rodent wildlife.
