 >:( That is a totally unforgiveable crime what the city allowed to happen to that courtroom.  >:(

Seeing the condition that this once beautiful courtroom is in, its no wonder why the Muney Judges turned it down. There is absolutely no excuse why this was allowed to happen, none whatsoever!

Every Mayor, and every City Council since the Court moved to the new building should be held personally responsable, and should be madew to restore it before they get one more red cent in federal money!  >:(

Took some pic's of the courtroom today with the phone, so they're not the best of quality.

Looking to the back where the judge would have presided.

Jurors' box?

Big leaking hole in the roof that no one seems concerned with fixing anytime soon...

Rick Rowlands

And that is probably the only thing standing in the way of Obama taking over the entire country...

Answer

1.   Front and Market
2.   U.S. Post Office and Federal Building
3.   City Hall Annex
4.   The famous Youngstown Sheet and Tube v. Sawyer federal case that reached the U.S. Supreme Court began here. The case was then heard by Judge David Pine in the U S. District Court for the District of Columbia. In that case, Pine issued an injunction barring the government from continuing to hold steel plants that it had seized on the order of Harry S. Truman. Truman sought to avert a strike by steel workers which Truman asserted would harm the efforts of the United States in the Korean War. Pine found this to exceed the power of the President, and the Supreme Court ultimately agreed with him, upholding the injunction. The Supreme Court decision would  go on to be cited in thousands of cases since it was handed down.

Please answer all four questions.

Only the one who can answer all four questions will be deemed correct.

Clue: It was on the 3rd floor that set off the historical event.

Where is it?
What was it?
What is it?
What role did it play in the history of Youngstown?

You'll have to answer all four questions in this one.
