Bring Back The Middle Class To Ohio

Dennis just can't seem to grasp the concept of "freedom" and what it means. He mistakenly attributes the explosive economic growth of the middle thirty years of the last century to high taxes, when in reality it occured in spite of them. He thinks our founders fought to free our Country from the aristocracy of kings, to turn it over to the aristocracy of the masses, completely missing the premise that the founders constructed a Contitution that constrained government, thereby affirming man's God given right to be left alone. My how we've perverted it.

As if it were tax laws, or any government intervention, that created the middle class!  The gall of some people to so blatantly try to rewrite history!

A Green Party Governor: Bring Back The Middle Class To Ohio

It's time we return Ohio to the more steeply progressive tax rates that led to the creation of the American middle class in the era of 1947-1980. This will be good for Ohio, and good for corporate Ohio as well.

People living on the edge of existence shouldn't pay taxes on the necessities of life. On the other hand, those who have accumulated so much wealth should be subject to substantial taxation.

In Sweden, they have a most vital middle class and highest quality of life. CEO's earn 13 times as much as their average blue-collar workers. In The U.S., the aveage CEO makes 411 times as much as the aveage worker.

The simple reality is that they are not working as hard as 411 people all at the same time nor are they 411 smarter than their fellow workers.

America was created in response against aristocracy. We must bring back the middle class by resoring the tax laws that created it.
