Youngstown PRIDE is an LGTB organization (lesbian, gay, transgender, bi) June is National Gay PRIDE Month, similar events are held in Cleveland, Pittsburg,Columbus... all over the Country to celebrate the LGTB community and their families.

The parade is a new edition this year. It will not be held on East Federal (StreetScape starts lunch and closing speeches at 12noon, there is not enough time to take the tents down between 12:45 an 1pm) the Festival will be on West Federal and the Parade will begin at Rayen and head down Wick to West Federal.

Those who attend the Streetscape flower planting in downtown Youngstown on Saturday will be able to watch the Pride Parade on East Federal Street starting at 12:30 p.m.  I don't know if the same parade was held in 2009.

Pride Youngstown is a non-profit organization consisting of individuals who meet year-round to develop, organize, coordinate and promote the Pride Parade and Festival and other events or legal activities for our community.
