According to the National Weather Service, 68.1 percent of the United States is covered with snow, compared with 51.2 percent in January. Every state except Hawaii has some snow cover.

Man has harmed the environment, but the environment always wins.  Take a trip to Pithole, PA and look around.  Then look at the pictures taken of the same spot when there were oil derricks covering every square foot of ground, and the stench of crude oil was everywhere. Nature recovered!

Make no mistake about it, man has done much to harm our environment ... our river is an example ... the community in New York that became so polluted that it had to be abandoned being another.

I also suspect that if I took the time to google it, I could come up with several hundred examples.

For my part, I'm not necessarily anti-global warming. I'm just in disagreement with the extremists, but then I'm also in disagreement with animal rights folks, and vegetarians.

This is why the scientific community has started calling it "global climate change," to avoid this kind of confusion.  The movie "The Day After Tomorrow" was loosely based on real science.  Also, as I understand it, global warming/global climate change si still a theory, much like the theory of evolution.  IMO, that's why they used the word "if."

Sorry, I didn't realize that "Global Warming Caused Blizzard" was quoted from someplace else.

As for the last sentence, the operative word is "if" and I used the whole phrase. Not including the full sentence doesn't change my point, including it actually bolsters it.

"Most climate scientists respond that the ferocious storms are consistent with forecasts that a heating planet will produce more frequent and more intense weather events."
NYT

And please include the full sentence: "In other words, if the government scientists are correct, look for more snow."

"The opinions expressed in this article may or may not reflect the view of the poster....Blah, Blah, Blah....

But your sentence "Global Warming Caused Blizzard" might be considered reflective of your point of view?

And how, from reading the article did you come up with the view that Global Warming Caused the Blizzard? There is nothing definite in that article, which by the way ends with a sentence containing the phrase "if the government scientists are correct".
