I just gave it a listen - FUNNY stuff, Town Talk.

Old Boris Karloff had a good sense of humor...

I just added a couple historic videos to the site that came from this same
archive... the Youngstown Kitchens "Mullinaires" chorus, and "The last word
in Automatic Dishwashing" sales pitch video... they even had the sales video
in high definition, MP4 format....great stuff!

:)

Here is the link to a show that announced that it would make an appearance in Youngstown back in 1949. It didn't say where they would appear but owing to who it was, I suspect that it was at the Palace Theater. The announcement comes at the end of the show,

Town Talk,

Thanks for pointing me to the 1944 "D-Day" broadcast archives, they are now
available for streaming from my website.

I would love to have more video and audio content that relates to Youngstown.
There are a couple of old, public domain television spots about Youngstown
Kitchens' products that I put up on the site just the other day - the ads are
an absolute scream - very nostalgic.

LOL

:)

Much more better than listing to 570 WKBN....   ;D :P

While downloading shows, I stumbled over several that either mentioned Youngstown or were set in Youngstown.

Those websites are amazing.  I can't believe all of those are out there to be downloaded.  These should keep me entertained for quite some time.   ;D  I wish my dad was still around.  He loved Dragnet.....

Here are a couple of links to Old Time Radio you might be interested in. All the shows are in the Public Domain and free to download.

The shows are from the 1930's - 1940's and 1950's

So far, I've saved over 1000.
